WHAT TO EXPECT

At AFYA Medical Spa, we perform IPL Photo Rejuvenation treatments on the face and body. We generally recommend starting with the areas most prone to radiation damage such as the face, neck, chest, and hands. Then, many clients move on to treating the majority of the body since the results are so outstanding. We recommend one to three treatments of the Lumecca IPL, which is half the number of treatments needed with other IPL/BBL devices as the Lumecca is best in its class in terms of results.

WHEN TO BOOK

Treatments take 30 minutes per body area and can be performed three to four weeks apart. Results can be seen in as little as 7 to 14 days after each treatment. We recommend doing the IPL Photo Rejuvenation treatments on skin that is not tanned or has been exposed to intense sunlight for 30 days. After the treatment, we also recommend staying out of the sun for 2 to 4 weeks, as this will optimize the results.
