SCULPTRA

SCULPTRA

Sculptra is an injectable biostimular. The primary active ingredient in Sculptra is poly-L-lactic acid, which is a biocompatible and biodegradable synthetic material. Unlike traditional fillers that provide immediate results, Sculptra stimulates the body’s natural collagen production over time, resulting in a gradual and natural-looking improvement in skin texture and volume.

WHAT IT TREATS

Sculptra is commonly used to treat wrinkles, folds, and hollow areas on the face. It is administered through a series of injections by a qualified healthcare professional. The effects can last for an extended period, making it a popular choice for individuals seeking a non-surgical and long-lasting solution to facial aging.

    WHAT TO EXPECT

    Immediately after a Sculptra treatment:

Swelling: Some degree of swelling and redness at the injection sites is common. This is a normal initial response to the treatment and usually subsides within a few hours to a couple of days.

Bruising: Bruising may occur, especially if blood vessels are affected during the injection process. This is typically temporary and fades within a few days.

Tenderness: The treated areas may feel tender to the touch. This tenderness is usually mild and diminishes shortly after the procedure.

    WHEN TO BOOK

Sculptra is often administered in a series of sessions spaced several weeks apart.
Typically, two to three treatment sessions are recommended, with intervals of about 4 to 6 weeks between sessions.
The gradual results of Sculptra mean that each session builds upon the previous one as collagen production is stimulated over time.
